"Welcome to our website ...

Christ Church is a very warm and welcoming evangelical church in the village of Walshaw, Bury, Greater Manchester.

We are a church family focused on 'Living and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ': loving God, valuing and caring for all members of our church family, and aspiring to make a positive difference in the world starting here in our community of Walshaw.

The whole church family meets together every Sunday morning and some Sunday evenings too and our worship is informal and relaxed.

If you are thinking of coming along and 'giving us a try' please do - we would love to meet you and get to know you." Steve

We meet together every week on a Sunday morning and some weeks on a Sunday evening.

Every week, before our morning service starts our church family starts to gather together to catch up and share in tea and coffee - from 10.30am ...11am - our service starts.

Our morning services vary from week to week and include all-age family services, morning worship and services of Holy Communion. Our Children's Church for children 0 - 11 takes place on two out of four Sunday mornings. We have an All Age service on the third Sunday of a month and Family Holy Communion whenever there is a fifth Sunday in a month.

On the third Sunday of the month, in the spring and summer, we have 'Evening Prayer' taken from Common Worship. A reflective service with prayers and a short talk in included. Again this starts at 6.30pm
