Prayer at this Time
Praying for our community and nation
Please pray for those who are anxious, poorly or self isolating; those who are working so hard in the health services as well as parents at home with their children; children and young people who have finished school prematurely; the elderly and vulnerable; those who are worried about their jobs and finances; and for those in authority with great responsibility. If you are praying at home you might want to use the little prayer booklet produced by the Church of England to help you if you are having difficulty knowing where to start.. please click here or the icon. You can use the booklet online or print it off.

'Thy Kingdom Come' 22nd - 31st May 2020: praying for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to empower the Church in new ways
The Church has a number of resources to help us to pray during this time and three are commended to you …
- First of all this prayer booklet and the reason this has been chosen is because it seems whether you find pictures, Bible readings or prayers themselves helpful as you seek God, speak to Him and listen to Him this booklet has something for everyone.
The booklet is available to be used or printed off directly from the Thy Kingdom Come website by clicking here: https://bit.ly/2WQkC0Z
or from our church website here on this page:
- There is also a fantastic interactive prayer resource for young families using a map and a mobile phone app … which I know the Archbishop of Canterbury thinks is brill … and more information on this can be found by clicking here: https://bit.ly/2LoezM0
- We also have some Play & Pray activities for toddlers and young children to do with their parents and they will be posted each day during Thy Kingdom Come on our FaceBook and Twitter pages as well as on our website here:
