    Lent 2020

This year Christ Church Walshaw is sharing in some Lent activities with St Andrews Radcliffe and Christ Church Ainsworth.

    Lent Study

During Lent, on Saturday mornings, 10am - 11am, we are exploring the Book of Hebrews as we look to learning more about Jesus. We will be meeting at the Victoria Walshaw, in Walshaw. Lots of chat, this is a very informal and relaxed time together with refreshments provided. All are welcome to come for all or some of the sessions which will be led each week by a different person from one of the three churches.

    Lent Lunch

During lent on Wednesdays 12 - 1pm at St Andrews Church Radcliffe there will be a chance to share in soup and a roll and share in conversation as we walk together through the Passion story. All welcome. £1 donation optional.

    Lent Night Prayer

On each Tuesday evenings during Lent, at 7.30pm, there is a chance to come together with others, at Christ Church Ainsworth, to pray together. This reflective and traditional little service aims to provide an oasis during this special season in the Church calendar.

    Prayer during Holy Week

In the lead up to Maundy Thursday, on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening there will be Night Prayer at Christ Church Ainsworth. All are welcome to these service too.
